I thought it would be fun to post one picture that captured a special moment for each day I was on the Camino. Considering that I took over 2,000 pictures it will be tough to pick just one but here goes.
Had to cheat again – no choice in the matter!! Three photos this time!!!
The famous bridge at Puente La Reina. It is here that I met Robert (he took this picture) and to paraphrase the great movie Casablanca, It was the beginning of a beautiful friendship.
Outside the Basque town of Cirauqui. Notice the peregrina on the road and the atmospheric conditions about to engulf the town and all of us!!
Robert and I – two happy peregrinos having dinner at the Restaurante El Volante. We have extra big smiles because of the wine and the second serving of chips (French fries)!
